Eppy’s Tool and Equipment Warehouse was founded
in 1983 by Sandor Epstein to fill a void he believed existed in the automotive industry.
Previously, he taught automotive classes and would purchase his tools from different
vendors who sold tools out of their vans. He was never impressed with their displays
or offerings and believed that he could do a better job in the automotive wholesale/retail
industry. He left his teaching job to try out his own tool van appropriately called,
“Tools on Wheels.” Soon after its inception, Sandor gained great success. Unfortunately,
his customer base grew too large for him to reach in a given day. He thought, “What
if I created a central location for all of my customers to come and shop?”

CONCEPT REALIZED:

In 1983, Sandor found a warehouse located in
Brooklyn, NY that was the perfect fit for his new business vision. He created Eppy’s
Tool and Equipment Warehouse Inc. and formed the company’s mission statement which
is still in effect today… 27+ years later!

Mission Statement: Eppy’s is in business to provide the best quality products,
at the most competitive prices, while providing the best customer service.

We offer the finest automotive tools and equipment
at the best prices (especially when you join our exclusive Mechanic’s Tool Club
buying group). Eppy’s sells to professional mechanics, backyard mechanics, Vo-Tech
schools, wholesalers, non-profit organizations, retail commercial concerns and the
government. We are in business to do much more than just sell tools. We have a technical
service department to answer questions. Also on site is a repair department for
any broken tools and equipment. Our sales staff is knowledgeable and ready to assist
you with any customer service concerns.

to serve you better. Our main location is in Brooklyn, New York with a satellite
store in Howell, New Jersey. We are NOT just a web based retailer of mechanic's
tools. We have built a reputation on providing the highest quality customer service
in the industry since 1983. We are here to help you: Our staff can help
answer your tool and equipment questions by email, phone, or in person.
