The Associated Equipment ASO9002A is a compact, automatic 1.5-amp charger/maintainer designed to be permanently mounted near a 12V battery so it can power on and maintain charge whenever it's needed, without operator intervention. It automatically switches to float mode once the battery reaches full charge, and its sonically sealed, durable plastic case is built to resist damage from oil, water, gasoline, and other fluids commonly found under the hood. Built-in reverse-polarity and short-circuit protection make it a safe, low-maintenance way to keep fleet or seasonal-use vehicles battery-ready.
