Product Overview

The Associated Equipment ASO6031 is a hand-held analog tester that goes beyond a basic load check, adding alternator diode diagnostics - including the GM trio test - to a full 125-amp battery load test. It searches for excess starter current and abnormal alternator/regulator output voltage, giving technicians a fuller picture of a vehicle's charging and starting system in a single lightweight tool. Cables extend from the base of the handle for safer, more convenient use on 6V and 12V systems.
